Etsy SEO Tool
Research the tags.
Then fill the listing.
Most Etsy SEO tools hand you a keyword list and stop. You still write the title, write the description, and type thirteen tags in by hand — for every listing. autokeyworder does the research and the typing, inside the Etsy listing editor.
50 free credits when you sign up. Works in the Etsy listing editor, on new and existing listings. Nothing is published without you pressing publish.
The gap
Two half-tools, one job
Keyword research tools
Give you volume and competition numbers. Genuinely useful. Then they leave you in a spreadsheet, and the listing still has to be written by hand.
AI tag generators
Produce thirteen confident-sounding tags in a second. With no Etsy data behind them, they are guesses that read well.
autokeyworder
Reads Etsy's live autocomplete and search results, scores what is actually winnable, then writes the title, description and all thirteen tags into the listing editor.
Etsy keyword research
Where the keywords come from
The research runs against Etsy itself. Not Google volume, not a static database — Etsy's own suggestions and Etsy's own results pages, read at the moment you run it.
- 01
Expand from Etsy's own autocomplete
Your seed terms go through Etsy's search suggestions and come back with a popularity rank. These are phrases Etsy shoppers actually type, not a generic keyword list borrowed from Google.
- 02
Sample the real search results
For the strongest candidates it reads the live results page: how many listings compete, their ratings and review counts, and which of them carry Bestseller badges, Star Seller badges, or paid ads.
- 03
Score demand against competition
Autocomplete rank becomes the demand signal. Bestseller density, Star Sellers, and ad saturation become the competition penalty. Each keyword comes back tiered, so a phrase that is popular AND winnable is visible at a glance.
Competition is not one number. A keyword crowded with Bestseller badges is a different problem from one crowded with paid ads, and the scoring weighs them differently.
Etsy listing optimization
What it fills in
| Field | What happens |
|---|---|
| Title | Written from the keywords that scored, not from a template. |
| Tags | All 13 slots. Existing tags are kept unless you choose to overwrite. |
| Description | Written for the listing, with your keywords placed in it. |
| Category | Matched through Etsy's own hierarchical category search. |
| Materials | Filled from what the product actually is. |
Everything lands in the listing editor as editable text. Read it, change what you want, publish when you are happy. The tool never submits a listing for you.
One extension
If you sell in more than one place
The same install also fills upload metadata on Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Freepik, Zedge, Displate, and TeePublic. Sellers who list the same work across several marketplaces get the most out of it.

Etsy tags, titles, and the rest
How many tags does an Etsy listing get?
Thirteen. Etsy allows 13 tags per listing and every one is a ranking slot, so leaving them half-filled leaves reach on the table. autokeyworder fills all 13, and by default it keeps tags you already added rather than overwriting your work.
What is the difference between this and an Etsy keyword tool?
Most Etsy keyword tools stop at a list. You still have to decide which phrases to use, write a title around them, write a description, and type 13 tags in by hand. autokeyworder does the research and then writes and fills the listing, in the Etsy listing editor, in the same pass.
Does it work on listings I have already published?
Yes. Open any existing listing in the Etsy listing editor and run it there. Optimising listings you already have is usually a faster win than adding new ones, because they already carry history.
Is this an Etsy tag generator or an Etsy SEO tool?
Both halves, which is the point. A tag generator invents plausible-sounding tags with no data behind them. A research tool gives you data and no listing. This reads Etsy's live autocomplete and search results first, then writes the title, tags, and description from what it found.
Does it change anything without asking?
No. It fills the fields in the listing editor and leaves them there. You review everything and you press publish. Nothing is submitted to Etsy on your behalf.
Does it work for print-on-demand and digital downloads?
Yes. The research runs on whatever your product actually is, and the same 13 tag slots and title rules apply across physical, print-on-demand, and digital listings.
Start with the listings you already have
Published listings already carry history. Re-running the ones that never took off is usually a faster win than adding new ones.
