The Etsy fees this calculator uses

FeeRate (US seller)Charged on
Listing fee$0.20 per listingEach new listing and each renewal. Listings expire after 4 months. A multi-quantity listing renews at $0.20 when a copy sells.
Transaction fee6.5%Item price plus shipping and gift wrap you charge. Not on US sales tax.
Payment processing3% + $0.25The full amount the buyer pays, including tax and shipping.
Offsite Ads15%, or 12% from $10,000 in 365-day salesOnly orders Etsy attributes to its own off-Etsy ads (click, then order within 30 days). Capped at $100 per order. Once you reach 12% it stays 12% for the life of the shop.

Listing fee is charged once per listing, so the calculator adds $0.20 to this sale as a simple per-sale figure. If one listing sells 10 copies before it renews, the real share is lower.

What this calculator leaves out

Fees are one half of your margin. The other half is whether anyone finds the listing. Titles and the 13 tags decide that, and they are the slow part of every upload.
