Freepik has its own AI autotagger. We built this anyway, because the built-in one has a habit Freepik themselves admit to: it leans on generic tags and tells you to “always review.” Generic tags do not differentiate your asset, and undifferentiated assets do not get found. Here is what AutoKeyWorder does differently.

The problem it solves

Freepik’s built-in autotagger drops 30 keywords on every asset and a title to match. The keywords skew broad — the kind every other contributor uploading the same concept also gets. A “wireframe security illustration” tagged with design, vector, technology, background is invisible in a search for the thing it actually shows.

AutoKeyWorder reads the image and writes keywords to the specific subject, then orders them by search relevance instead of by whatever the model surfaced first. The front of your keyword list is where Freepik’s search weights hardest — so that is where the keywords that actually describe your asset go.

What changes for your uploads

Titles that fit the cap. Freepik hard-limits titles to 100 characters. Go over and the asset gets rejected or silently truncated. AutoKeyWorder writes every title inside that band — descriptive, front-loaded, never clipped.

Keywords in singular form, no stuffing. Freepik search treats singular tokens as the canonical form. AutoKeyWorder emits singular keywords, deduped, with no comma-padding tricks that get assets flagged.

The AI label handled for you. This is the one most tools get wrong. Freepik does not treat “AI generated” as a keyword — it is a toggle on the upload form. AutoKeyWorder flips that toggle when your asset is AI, and keeps the phrase out of your visible tags. Your keyword slots stay clean; the label stays compliant.

The last tile no longer gets lost. Freepik’s editor has no save button. It autosaves a tile only when you click to the next one — so the final asset in a batch is easy to lose. AutoKeyWorder walks the grid and re-clicks to flush that last tile. Nothing drops on the way out.

Update to the latest AutoKeyWorder build.
Open your Freepik (or Magnific) contributor upload grid.
Click the AutoKeyWorder button. It fills titles and keywords, sets the AI toggle, and walks the grid.
Review, adjust anything you want, publish.

Same workflow you already know from the other platforms. Run a small batch first — eyeball the titles and confirm the AI toggle state — before you push a big upload.
