Using AutoKeyWorder on Etsy

Yes, AutoKeyWorder works on Etsy. Open a listing in the Etsy listing editor (new or existing), click the extension, and it fills the title, all 13 tags, the description, the category and the materials. Each listing costs 2 credits. You review the text and press publish yourself.

Step by step

  1. Install the extension and sign in. You get 50 free credits.
  2. In Etsy Shop Manager, open Listings and create a new listing or edit an existing one. Upload at least one photo first.
  3. Click the AutoKeyWorder icon. Choose Etsy if it is not detected automatically.
  4. Press Process All. The extension reads the first photo, checks Etsy search suggestions for the product, and types the title, 13 tags, description, category and materials into the form.
  5. Read it. Change anything you like. Press Etsy's own publish button when you are happy.

What it writes

  • Title: buyer phrases first, within Etsy's 140-character limit.
  • Tags: 13 tags, each 20 characters or fewer, no repeats of the title phrase.
  • Description: the most important details in the first two lines, then materials, size and use.
  • Category and materials: picked from Etsy's own lists.

Credits and price

2 credits per listing, 3 if you turn on enhanced research. 50 free credits on signup, so 25 listings before you pay anything. After that: $3.99 for 100 credits, $9.99 for 1,000, or $6.99 a month for 900. Full table on the help index.

What it does not do

  • It does not publish. Nothing leaves the editor until you press publish.
  • It does not show search volume or competitor sales. Use eRank or EverBee for research, then fill with AutoKeyWorder.
  • It does not bulk-upload from a CSV. One listing at a time, inside the editor.
  • It does not write listing photos or mockups.

It did not fill the form

  1. Reload the listing editor page and click the icon again. Etsy changes its editor often, and the extension re-reads the page on load.
  2. Make sure a photo is uploaded. The extension needs the first photo to read.
  3. Check you are on etsy.com/your/shops/.../listing-editor, not the listing preview.
  4. If it still fails, the credits are refunded automatically. Email [email protected] with the listing URL.
